Tracks, Hills and Waterholes
The artwork featured throughout this website represents the living Country of the Bibbulmun people. The circular forms symbolise waterholes and gathering places where families came together to share knowledge, care for children and strengthen community.
The pathways represent the tracks walked by Ancestors across Country, carrying stories, culture and deep knowledge of the land, waters, plants, animals and seasons. And the earthy colours honour the strength of Boodja and the enduring connection between Country, family, spirit and culture.

The Bibbulmun language lives in our voices, in our songs, in the footsteps of dance, and in the stories passed from one heart to another. It was never bound to paper but carried through generations in the living breath of our people. A heartfelt thank you to all our Aboriginal people who have persistently worked to record our history, written our stories, and revised the languages of our Southwest peoples.
